Arts For All's January Newsletter!

Ballet Shoes

We started the year off with a Rainbow Club day out to the southbank, where we watched the play Ballet Shoes. The play was incredible and thoroughly enjoyed by the whole group!

Daniel Casey visits Arts for All!

Last year, Caroline took Robert to Richmond to see the Midsommer Murders play - there they met Daniel Casey, who played Troy. Robert and Daniel became instant best friends, so Daniel came to visit us during club, we had a lovely lunch and did some art together.

Arts for All 25th Anniversary

January 14th marked the 25th Anniversary of Arts for All. We spent the morning digging out old photos of Arts for All over the years, and it is amazing to see how the charity as progressed and developed over the years.

Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese lunch out

On our first week back we sat down with the Rainbow Club for a comittee meeting. This is a meeting we hold a few times a year for the group to tell us anything they would like to do, places they want to go and to discuss very important business: lunch. It was brought to our attention, to our surprise, that Debbie wanted to eat lunch at a pub (we weren't really that surprised)... and Philip dropped in about going back to Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese. So we did exactly that the following week.

Quiz Night!!

Last week we had our Arts for All Quiz Night! It was lovely to be able to meet up with friends of the charity and have a fun filled evening.

Some lovely club creativity

As always, we've been having clubs full of creativity. The kids club has been super busy with a lot of projects going on! The kids have been playing a game called Bao which they are very enthusiastic about! There have also been some very glittery homemade doll houses and disco rooms. Paint by numbers has been very popular too! We also welcomed Tony back to the club after he took some time off, and celebrated his birthday! You can see his amazing football birthday cake in the pictures below.

Run for Charity!

As always, please do spread the word to any runners who might want to take part in a run on our behalf and raise some money for us.
