Well...we've certainly had a Magical May. If you have seen us, or seen our Instagram or Facebook, you will know that this month has been extra special for a couple of members of our Rainbow Club - here is what we've been up to...
A belated Easter from Tesco Shoreditch High Street
We are lucky enough to have an amazing partnership with Tesco Shoreditch High Street, who provide us with a lot of essential items on a regular basis in which we are able to give out to the local community. This month, they donated slightly less 'essentials' and instead plenty of treats. We were able to share all of this with the local hospital, school and families.

A wonderful workshop with artist Yorgos.
We connected with local artist Yorgos, who came and ran a workshop with the Rainbow Club based on connection. He brought lots of material to make collages and build up scenarios! The group were so engaged for the entire session and really enjoyed the work.
Disneyland Paris
If you have ever met Debbie Baker you will know how desperately she has wanted to go to Disneyland to meet all of her favourite characters, for years. We decided that since she turned 60, she has been waiting far too long for her dreams to come true, and we needed to make it happen. So we did - and we decided that Philip would be the perfect friend to go along with Debbie, so he could fufil his dream of going to Paris/abroad and experience a holiday!
It was such a privilege to be able to do this for them both, and watching them meet the REAL Mickey Mouse was one of the many, many highlights. You can see a little video of the trip on our social media pages.
Sunny Day: Coffee, lunch and a walk around Victoria Park
It was a really sunny day so we decided to get our steps in and go for a little walk in Victoria Park, followed by a lovely lunch. (And yes, that is Philip's very pink drink).
Rainy Day: Museum, lunch and a walk around Covent Garden
It was a very rainy day so we decided to have a wander around Covent Garden, and head to the British Transport Museum which was super interesting! We enjoyed a wonderful lunch at Flat Iron too which is a firm favourite!
Volunteers from BW
We had a lovely group of volunteers join us for a club.
Another trip to the pub for a big catch up!
The photobook arrived from Disneyland so Debbie and Philip had such a nice time reminicing through the photos and showing their friends! We also had lunch and played a good game of snap.
The Kids Clubs!
Although it has been half term this week, for the rest of May we still had our kids clubs as usual with loads of fun and activities - for some reason we forgot to take any photos, apart from this one, but they were definitely in full swing!

Well - what a round up for May. We have alot more fesitivities approaching in June, including a wedding!!
See you next month!
