A slightly belated newsletter this month, as Ella has just returned from a couple of weeks off for her wedding and straight back into a busy week of fun Arts for All activities!
A slightly 'quieter' July, as we mainly enjoyed clubs as usual and Ella was away for the last two weeks of the month, but a lovely one nonetheless! Here is what we got up to...
A view of London
We began the month with a trip over to visit our friends at Warwick Court - an amazing office with some incredble views. We soaked in the London Skyline, Philip had a short snooze on the comfy bean bags and then we went for lunch (actually brunch!) at Cafe Rouge.
A film & lunch at the Art'otel Hoxton
We have been lucky enough to get to know the team at the Art'otel Hoxton, who invited us down to enjoy a film with the Rainbow Club in their private cinema room! We chose Paddington in Peru as the film of choice, as the whole group absolutely love the Paddington films (and have watched them countless times on long journeys to Devon and trips!) and were desperate to see it. We then went to their restaurant, the Brush Cafe for a delicious lunch, which they so kindly treated us to.
Roberts Birthday Day Out
Robert celebrated his birthday this month, so we took him, Philip and Alice out for an extra special day out of lunch at his favourite restaurant - Flat Iron, and then we stumbled across the beautiful exhibition by the Royal Drawing School in which we spent some time discussing the art, and creating some too.
Another birthday celebration!
Toward the end of July, we celebrated Chris's birthday at his party!
A special tablecloth...
The kids and adults designed this incredible tablecloth for Ella's wedding - here it is looking amazing!

Our next exhibition!
A reminder for you all that the date of our next exhibition is Wednesday 17th September from 5pm - 7.30pm, at The Think Tank Auditorium, 8 Bishopsgate, EC2N 4BQ.
Put it in your diaries! There will be 40 original framed works available to purchase, with lots of unframed pieces also available. There may also be a possibility of framed prints to purchase!
This exhibition will be inspired by the work of Charlie Mackesy.
We have been running workshops where we've discussed his work, read through his book "The Boy, The Mole, The Fox & The Horse". We've watched the film, and done animal drawing workshops. This year we have had such an amazing number of participants from both clubs, with such a high level of enthusiasm.
